Taxonomy update for 2021
Hill Blue Flycatcher Cyornis banyumas is split into :
- Hill Blue Flycatcher (Cyornis whitei)
- Javan Blue Flycatcher (Cyornis banyumas)
- Dayak Blue Flycatcher (Cyornis montanus)

With this split, Javan Blue Flycatcher becomes a critically endangered
species given its rare and declining population on Java.


    Size : 14–15.5 cm, 14-17 g
    
    Subspecies and Distribution
  • Monotypic. (Robinson, HC; Kinnear, NB 1928)
    – Borneo.
