- Monotypic. (J. F. Gmelin, 1789, Java (= Sumatra?)– Peninsular Thailand and Malaysia S through Sumatra (including Riau Archipelago, Nias, Bangka and Belitung) and Borneo. Recorded (status uncertain) in W Java.
