• Cyanoderma chrysaeum binghami (Rippon, G 1904)
  – E Mizoram (NE India) and W Myanmar.
• Cyanoderma chrysaeum auratum (Meyer de Schauensee, R 1938)
  – E Myanmar, NW Thailand (S to Chiang Dao), N and C Laos, N Vietnam (Tonkin, N Annam) and S China (S Yunnan E to SW Guangxi).
• Cyanoderma chrysaeum assimile (Walden, A 1875)
  – SE Myanmar (including Tenasserim) and NW and W Thailand.
• Cyanoderma chrysaeum chrysops (Richmond, CW 1902)
  – S Thailand and Peninsular Malaysia.
