    Malay : Cekup-Paya Kecil Biasa
    Japanese : コヨシキリ (ko yoshi-kiri)
    Kanji 日語漢字 : 小葦切り



    Size : 13.5–14 cm; 7–11 g (mean 9.4 g)

    Subspecies and Distribution
  • Monotypic. (Swinhoe, 1860, Xiamen (Amoy), Fujian, China)
    – SE Russia (SE Siberia, Amur Valley, Ussuriland), NE & E China, Korean Peninsula (scarce), Sakhalin and Japan (Hokkaido S to C Honshu, locally Kyushu); non-breeding NE India E to S & SE China and Taiwan (uncommon) S to Malay Peninsula, rarely N Sumatra.
