  • Mixorni bornensis zopherus (Oberholser, 1917)
    – Anamba Is, E of Peninsular Malaysia.
  • Mixorni bornensis everetti (E. J. O. Hartert, 1894)
    – Bunguran, in N Natuna Is.
  • Mixorni bornensis zaperissus (Oberholser, 1932)
    – N Natunas (except Bunguran).
  • Mixorni bornensis argenteus (Chasen & Kloss, 1930)
    – Banggi I and Malawali I, off N Borneo.
  • Mixorni bornensis cagayanensis (Guillemard, 1885)
    – Cagayan Sulu I, in SW Sulu Sea.
  • Mixorni bornensis bornensis (Bonaparte, 1850)
    – Borneo (except Mt Kinabalu area), including Pulau Laut, also Bangka I and Belitung I (off E Sumatra).
  • Mixorni bornensis montanus (Sharpe, 1887)
    – Mt Kinabalu area, in N Borneo.
  • Mixorni bornensis javanicus (Cabanis, 1851)
    – W & C Java.
