Subspecies and Distribution
- Monotypic. (E. J. O. Hartert, 1907, Tai Pai Shan, Qinling Mountains, China)– Very local in C China (S Shaanxi S to N Sichuan, mainly at Jiuzhaigou National Park); non-breeding uncertain, recorded in S Malay Peninsula (Cameron and Genting Highlands) and Cambodia (Phnom Penh).
