Negros Leaf Warbler Phylloscopus nigrorum, of the Philippines,
is split from Mountain Leaf Warbler Phylloscopus trivirgatus,
which is widespread to the west of the Philippines.

- Mountain Leaf Warbler (Phylloscopus trivirgatus) : Malaya, Sumatra, Java, Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa, Borneo


      Size : 10-11 cm; 9 g

      Subspecies (4) and Distribution
  • Phylloscopus trivirgatus trivirgatus (Strickland, HE 1849, Java) – Sunda Mountain Warbler
    – Sumatra, Java, Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa and nw Borneo.
  • Phylloscopus trivirgatus parvirostris (Stresemann, EFT 1912)
    – Malaya (Perak S to Pahang).
  • Phylloscopus trivirgatus kinabaluensis (Sharpe, RB 1901)
    – Mountains of ne Borneo (Mt. Kinabalu).
  • Phylloscopus trivirgatus sarawacensis (Chasen, FN 1938)
    – Mountains of w Borneo (Poi Mountains of w Sarawak).
