    Subspecies and Distribution
  • Cyanoderma erythropterum erythropterum (Blyth, 1842)
    – extreme S Myanmar (S Tenasserim) and S Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore and N Natuna Is.
  • Cyanoderma erythropterum pyrrhophaeum (Hartlaub, 1844)
    – Sumatra, including Batu Is, Bangka and Belitung.
  • Cyanoderma erythropterum fulviventre (Richmond, 1903)
    – Banyak Is, off NW Sumatra.
